The Verna Jean was built in 1977 in Fort Bragg California by Robert Kelley, at Kelley Boat works. The vessel’s builder is the owner’s father. The vessel owner is Brian Kelley, his father built the vessel originally for his parents and the vessel is named after the owner’s grandmother Verna.
